R+ Americana By Jay-z

Who woulda thought Jay-z would have collaborated with a sneaker store in Philly? The "VILLA" aka Sneaker Villa has been around for 20yrs this year, yeah "Join the Movement " has worked with him on this new project. The name of these boots are R+ Americana, and they are suppose to embody a classic look, which I believe they do in a way .. the style to me is very classic and old. These were handmade in Western PA, which will of course make the price a little over the top but .. what do I know right? So they are set to be released Sept 15th, retailed at $200. Annnddd from what I've heard .. there are only suppose to be 54 pairs available in the country if I'm not mistaken ..

My weekend Highlights

Friday night at The Borgata, The Roots were there, they had a concert,

I must say I was really entertained! Like really. And to be honest I fell off,

with not keeping up with them. Anyway I promise to now stay tuned

with events, albums, appearances etc ..

So like they are, along with a few others on point in keeping hip hop

alive! I enjoy their music, and the band is so LIVE.

And most of all their fan base is CRAZY and very diverse!
Which always makes a good crowd!!

I know, two days went by and I haven't post anything really interesting. Only reason I can muster up for that is .. I've been flat out lazy as far as blogging. Because in fact things are coming threw for me right now, and I'm STOKED .. and unstoppable :) So I'm happy and back on my grind .. my journey. It's definitely an experience getting older, and being in the core of reality, having a kid and juggling everything. Indeed I'm very strong .. and I say that unlike everyone else, only because of what I have endured personally. So with that said, I'll still be blogging of course as much as I can, but to my followers "don't fall off" lol if I miss a day or two.

Dayton III was born in Chester PA, but raised in Philadelphia and attended High School in West Philadelphia. Euro P. started out as a member of a rap group that consist of 8 members including himself in High School called H.L.S, he played his part by being Producer/Writer/CEO rosponsible for their first and last mixtape entitled "Manifest Disrespect". He's very talented and determined which is the attitude you must have to make it in this industry.

Model turned talk show host Alexa Chung started out at 14 yrs old being scouted by Elite Modeling Management, and two years later at 16 she began modeling for another agency Based in London Storm Modeling Management. She modeled for Urban Outfitters, Elle Girl and Cosmo Girl and more! She also appeared in music videos and did runway for a few well known designers. Now she has a TV show coming really soon "Its on with Alexa Chung" in replacement of TRL on MTV. She seems like she could be entertaining, stylish and funny. Catch it weekdays in October!

and illustrator Bobby Hill held a one of my favorite stores

on Walnut street UBIQ. This was actually my first

time seeing his work and hearing about him. He has really

unique work, very innovative!

How exciting right? I never even thought about them doing a sequel, but here it is. This should be interesting, set to come out in theatres May 2010. And Congrats to Carrie Bradshaw, she recently gave birth to twins!!

there coolest phone has been announced to be in T-mobile locations

everywhere in August. Although it is available for

pre-sale to current t-mobile customers. Not yet priced (I checked )

I don't know why ..

This is a full touch screen unlike

the G-1, and much smaller .. which makes it more attractive, this should

do really well. I got the g-1 before it came out, but changed services :(

So I'm kinda dissapointed I cant get this right now.

But I will be getting it in due time!
